My latest professional experience, my previous knowledge in SQL and Python landed me here, even though I had never used tools like Django or React I got the opportunity to learn them for the time I was working here. This company unlike my previous ones was finance aligned.
Here, my core work revolved in fixing bugs, implementing new things and keeping flows up to date - the system itself was extremely big as it had payments, reimbursements, ERP connections, slack and ms teams integrations, billings, etc; unfortunately, a year after being acquired by Paystand our team grew smaller, which increased the pressure due to how big the system was, during that time I fully owned the MS Teams integration, getting to closely work with Azure and the tenant handling, as well as to migrate users to/from Slack. A few months near the end of my time here we were fully AI-driven, something really new to me, learning a different way on how to approach a problem.
I ended being laid off due to the company undergoing restructuration.
